Starz is showing early confidence in BMF.
The Lionsgate-controlled premium cable network has handed out an early season four renewal for the drama from executive producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, with the pickup arriving a day before the series otherwise known as Black Mafia Family launches its third cycle.
“Fans can’t get enough of the history in the making that is BMF,” said Kathryn Busby, president of programming at Starz. “We’re thrilled to start working on a new season that will continue bold storytelling of the legend of the Flenory brothers that has proven to resonate so deeply with our viewers.”

Production on season four will begin in the spring in Atlanta, while BMF continues to rank as one of the most watched shows on Starz, with an average of 10.6 million multiplatform viewers per episode, per the network.
