Director Bruno Mourral, who debuted his feature Kidnapping Inc. at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival, has signed with Grandview.
“We are thrilled to welcome Bruno Mourral to the Grandview family,” said managers Jeremy Platt and Adam Klein. “His visionary talent showcased in Kidnapping Inc. at Sundance left us captivated. With his unique perspective and storytelling expertise, we’re eager to embark on this journey together and help bring his career and creative vision to new heights.”
Mourral studied film at The International Film School of Paris, but returned to his native Haiti where co-founded production company Muska Group, building a deep background in commercial work in Africa and the Caribbean. As for narrative, Bruno wrote, directed and produced mid-length film Kafou.
Kidnapping Inc., which shot on location in Haiti, follows two hapless criminals as they attempt a simple abduction and everything goes awry. The film premiered in the Midnight section at Sundance.
Mourral continues to be repped by WME and France’s Agence Adequat.
